About 81 Cases Of Children Related Offenses Recorded in Oyo – NSCDC

The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in an interview with Double A Media revealed that they have recorded about 81 cases on children related cases in Oyo state and its environment within this year 2019.
“This year we have recorded about 81 cases on children related offenses.”
The security agency have been vibrant in handling matters within communities, showing in the manners with which they deal with issues and support the state Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
“We have the unit we call Anti-human Trafficking and Gender Relation Unit. We have been dealing with rape, child molestation, using children for trade, abuse of children amongst others…” the State P.R.O said
He stated that all criminals involved in such dastardly acts are made to face the wrath of the law and severely dealt with accordingly.
“Many people have been apprehended, especially those who commit incense and they are been charge to court”
“This year we have been responsive enough, receiving people from different communities of the state and attending to their issues.”
The NSCDC Oyo state command,hence, seeks the support of every good people of the state to make their work more effective in ensuring that the society is free from all forms of violence against women and children, as they promise to continue to do their best.
